The guest will stay in my home (with me, my husband, and our dog) in a suburb on Dallas Texas. Midlothian Texas is a town of approximately 25,000 people and a short drive to Dallas, Fort Worth, and Arlington. Guests can enjoy shopping, art, museums, sports, and travel back in time to the days of cowboys, oil wells, and ranches. Other local experiences include Native American culture and powwows, rodeos, and many lakes. The Dallas/Fort Worth area offers the guest a variety of activities (zoos, museums, amusement parks, professional sport activities) and access to delicious southern style food and popular Texas BBQ. Guests are sure to enjoy the friendliest cities, southern food, and laid back lifestyle Texas has to offer.
What’s included

Policy
Before hosting, the guest must meet with the teacher for 6 months, with regularly scheduled lessons (once a week/twice a week/once every two weeks). This allows the teacher and student to create a good relationship and for the teacher to assess the student’s English level.
- Please allow 2 weeks notice (minimum) if the guest must cancel the trip. After two cancellations, rescheduling a hosting trip will be at the discretion of the host.
- Inform the host of any medication, allergies, or health issues the student may have.
- The host is here to make your experience wonderful, so please ask questions as they arise.
- Maximum homestay number of 30 days.
